Saab 93 2.0T Dyno Data

Our 2008 Saab 9-3 6spd manual put down 201 hp and 211 lb-ft on the stock tune with 93 octane fuel (Saab definitely under rates this engine!). We picked up 36 hp and 45 lb-ft over the peak power of the stock tune and put down 237 hp / 255 lb-ft at the wheels with our Stage 0 calibration (same dyno, same day). Using a 15% drivetrain loss factor yields an estimated crank rating of 279 hp / 300 lb-ft!

We were suspicious of the numbers and ran it against our 2007 9-3 Aero on the same dyno – sure enough our Stage 0 2.0T put down +12 hp over the stock 2.8T (rated at 250hp)!

Adding our custom XT turbo upgrade and high flow injectors unleashes the full potential of the 2.0T engine possible with the stock internals. An upgraded clutch is required to handle the power at Stage 1 on the manual transmission – we offer the complete range of clutches from Spec.
